If you are looking for a way to get more out of your T’ai Chi practice, then this is a workshop that you won’t want to miss.
The workshop itself will be arranged in three sessions:
1:00PM: Liangong, Series 1 (18 healing therapies) that we use for warm-ups. We will go into greater detail about the individual therapies and provide posture corrections.
2:30PM: Introduce exercises that increase sensitivity, improve health and promote general well-being. They include T’ai Chi Ruler and Swimming Dragon exercises.
3:15PM: We will explore William C. C. Chen’s short form first 20 movements as a “mirror image”. This is doing the form with the first turn to the left rather than to the right. This is a good way to add balance and versatility to your practice.
While each session may be taken independently, the maximum benefit is obtained by attending the whole workshop.
No previous experience is needed to attend the first two sessions. At least a basic knowledge of the first 20 moves of William C. C. Chen’s short form is recommended for the third session.
